Join this engaging, energetic, hands on afterschool experience for children ages 6 to 8. This seed to table science lab invites children to experiment, invent, and create at the intersection of food, nature, and simple science. This is a drop off program.

Each week features a bold, child driven project designed to spark curiosity and build real world skills. Children measure, test, plant, design, construct, and problem solve as they explore how ingredients grow, transform, and interact. Sessions are tactile, creative, and intentionally immersive, encouraging independence, collaboration, and confident risk taking.

Session 1: Microgreens Snack Garden
Plant a fast growing microgreens garden, learning how light, water, and care affect growth.
Session 2: Butter Shake Off
Transform cream into butter through motion and persistence, experiment with fresh herbs, and enjoy a tasting.
Session 3: Wood Slice Seed Art
Design and construct nature inspired mosaics using seeds, lentils, grains, and natural materials on real wood slices.
Session 4: Juice Bar Lab
Develop exciting drink recipes using freeze dried fruit, mint, lemon, and juice, exploring flavor combinations and measurement.
Session 5: Nature Builders Challenge
Engineer miniature worlds and animal habitats using natural materials, strengthening spatial reasoning and design thinking.
Session 6: Seed Launchers and Flight Lab
Build and test mini launchers, experimenting with force, distance, and which seeds travel the farthest.
